HAVE A CRUSH ON SOMETHING.....for example, ON ENGLISH...is that possible?
TALKING POINT
Have you ever had to break up a fight?
Have you ever tried to bring someone around?
How often do you call on your friends? How often do your friends call on you?
Have you got a car? If so, do you often pick people up in it?
Has a friend ever put you up?
Do you know what it means if you hear someone say: ‘GO TO HELL’ or ‘you always FLY IN THE FACE OF convention’ or if something comes ‘OUT OF THE BLUE’…..all those idioms I am so interested in and that it is so difficult to put into practice if you are not a native English-speaker?
...and that is what we get here: some practice into English, some songs, some V.O. films recommendations, English-speaking writers and samples of their work, curiosities about the language itself, English-speaking countries (cities and customs, etc…) and your contributions and opinions will be highly valuable.
For you, colleague teachers, experiences in the classroom, didactic units and information, as up-to-date as possible, will be available.
