I will post the answers on Tuesday. You have plenty of time.

Enjoy the weekend.

Thank you for all your EVAU test practices sent on time.

I will correct them all and send them back at the same time. Be patient because there are two different essays for each of you.

Some of you have only sent one. Don't worry, you still can do the second one.

Today I am uploading a video (one of those from your text book) for practice and a pdf with activities and the answers. LINK TO DRIVE FOLDER

Just practice as much as possible. It won't take you more than 30 minutes (and that is too much).

See you. Enjoy the weekend if possible.

HI  GORGEOUS STUDENTS !!!!!

Today we have a couple of things to comment:

I hope you have done the online activities that I recommended. If you haven't, do it because it is good practice and you can correct it yourselves.

If you have already done those activities, I would like you to do activities 4 and 6 on pg 82 of your text book.

I will post the answers tomorrow

And....for SPEAKING PRACTICE, why don't you try to record your voice and answer to any of the questions on pg 85 ACTIVITY 6 where it says EXTRA

2 MINUTES WILL BE ENOUGH. CHOOSE ONE OF THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWER WHILE RECORDING. WHAT ABOUT A WEEK? FOR NEXT TUESDAY 1ST APRIL.

HOW ARE YOU DOING WITH HARRY POTTER?

I SUGGESTED READING 5 CHAPTERS A WEEK AND DO THE ACTIVITIES WEEKLY BUT MAYBE IT IS BETTER THAT YOU READ IT ALL AND THEN DO ALL THE ACTIVITIES AT THE END...

BUT ANY QUESTIONS ?
WRITE TO ME PLEASE IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR ANYTHING

Por ejemplo: I   PLAYED  FOOTBALL YESTERDAY.

I PLAYED FOOTBALL
I DIDN'T PLAY FOOTBALL (no jugué al fútbol)
DID YOU PLAY FOOTBALL? Yes I did     No, I didn´t

el vídeo está a la izquierda, en la parte de abajo.

Tomad notas de cada cosa nueva que presentemos y estudiad poco a poco.
Nos vemos mañana.

3º C/A and 3ºB/D (María Murgui's students)

Hello everybody.
Starting the week.

Today I am posting a couple of videos on REPORTED SPEECH.

In my opinion, they are quite good and clear and I ALSO  recommend you  reading  pg  113-114 where it says : UNIT 7  REPORTED SPEECH

Make sure you understand the examples on the book. Read them carefully and see if you clearly see the changes from 'direct speech' to 'indirect speech'.

Direct speech:  TOM:  I like music
Reported speech: TOM SAID THAT HE LIKED MUSIC
and after that watch the videos below and do activities 2 and 3 on page 81.

see you tomorrow

Pick a couple of days for doing English activities.
Do everything that is required/posted on one of the days and study vocabulary, structures (whatever) for a couple of hours.
The second day for another couple of hours you can do Evau tests.
or
You can do one of the tests each day and the activities divided into two parts.

IT IS JUST AN IDEA IN CASE IT HELPS!!!

Hoy toca REPASO

3ºC/A

Hi everybody .
I hope today we have new visitors from the other group B/D.
Write an email and say HI if you are from Maria Murgui's group :  inlochness@gmail.com  or if you have any question or whatever. Do not hesitate. Feel confident.

HARRY POTTER AND THE SECRET CHAMBER

I hope you haven't forgotten that dear Harry and friends are going to be with us this last term.

I have reminded you several times that the best way to read the book is to do it by dividing it into parts for each week and I recommended you to read up to chapter 4 (or 5) during this week.

I have some questions that I would like you to answer on a separate piece of paper.

I will be adding other questions or activities (even drawings) for the next weeks until we finish this peculiar time and even when we come back,  because I am picking the activities on paper.

So, start your TRABAJO/PROYECTO or whatever you want to call it and add the activities as they appear.

QUESTIONS FOR THIS WEEK:

Describe Harry's feelings for Hogwarts, his school, as compared to the Dursley house where he lives with his aunt and uncle from what is detailed in Chapter One.

Give one word that explains Vernon Dursley's reaction when Harry says "magic" in Chapter One. Explain why you have given this word.

SHORT ANSWER:

Dobby says he has always known about Harry Potter’s greatness, but not his goodness. What is the difference?

Harry is famous for defeating Lord Voldemort as a baby. This is what Dobby means by Harry's greatness: his heroic role in this legend. When Dobby meets Harry, he finds that Harry empathizes with the house-elf, wants to help him, and ultimately sets him free. This goodness, this care for the powerless, comes as a result of Harry's own suffering: his powerlessness, isolation, and neglect growing up with the Dursleys.

OPTIONAL:
There are many interesting things in the wizarding world. Make out a school lunch menu for Hogwarts. It can be either for a day or week. Be creative and descriptive. Be sure to give warnings, side effects, and ingredients or pictures where necessary

1º BACHILLERATO A/D

Hi everybody

Today I am including a link for grammar/self-correction exercises on unit 2 mainly.

https://www.esl-lounge.com/student/grammar-exercises-advanced.php

On this site, you will see a section that says WISHES and REGRETS. Don't do that part.

The rest is mainly conditionals (third type ) and inversions.

It is recommended to practice, so you don't lose track.

Here is some listening practice too:

https://learnenglishteens.britishcouncil.org/skills/listening/upper-intermediate-b2-listening/boy-bands

https://learnenglishteens.britishcouncil.org/skills/listening/upper-intermediate-b2-listening/high-achieving-teenagers

Maybe one of the listenings I upload here will be one of your tests

IF YOU READ THIS, SEND AN EMAIL AND SAY   HI TEACHER!😍

2º BACHILLERATO A

Hi everybody!

TODAY just a thing:

I have sent to your email (only 14 of you whose writings I have received) a link to a FOLDER in the DRIVE which includes TWO inner folders.
The red one contains a couple of EVAU practices, two different texts.
The green one is empty because I want you to UPLOAD your answers there.

If you haven't got a gmail account, you probably won't be able to upload your answers, so you can send it to the email as usual. If you have a gmail account, then it is easy, upload your sheet with the answers.

I find this method easier. I thought we would be out of school for a couple of weeks, but now it seems it is going to be longer, so I have to think of other possibilities.

About UNIT 10: the unit on the book is finished. I will post the answers for the workbook next week. I am afraid we have time.

I will include some links for readings and listenings these days. These are totally voluntary work, for you not to miss practise.

I am considering the possibility of testing your SPEAKING by you recording your performance and uploading it to the DRIVE, but it is just an idea I have to think over.

ONE LAST THING:
IN MY OPINION, DEADLINE FOR YOUR ACTIVITIES IS MORE THAN ENOUGH.
YOU HAVE HAD ONE WEEK FOR THE WRITING
YOU HAVE ONE WEEK FOR THE EVAU PRACTICES.
MORE THAN ENOUGH
I DON'T WANT TO SOUND STRICT BUT IF YOU DON'T SEND YOUR ANSWERS ON TIME, YOUR MARK WILL BE.....YOU KNOW.

WHEN WE COME BACK WE WILL HAVE EXAMS AS USUAL....AND....WE WON'T HAVE TIME TO REPEAT ANYTHING. SORRY.

😉😉😍
