MORE ABOUT STUDENTS' BEST HOLIDAYS

Hi, I'm Laura Hernández and this is my essay. I'm sorry for sending this just now but I couldn't send it before! Thank you :)

Hi! I'm sorry I've been so inactive lately but the reason I haven't posted anything in the last four days is that I've been so busy in Ireland and I barely have internet connection.

Today I have been to Dublin, we have visited some important monuments and a few museums. Later we went shopping and I bought a really cute jumper, I will upload the picture so you guys can see it.

Finally we went to a restaurant and I ate typical Irish food, I must say it was very tasty and I recommend it 100%.

Tomorrow I'll try to upload more stuff, please if you've recently been on holidays I'd love to hear from you. Leave your comments below!

Hi everyone,I'm here again.Sorry for not writting in the blog recently but I was so busy these days and I couldn't do it.Today I'm going to talk about Sevilla,a city in the south of my country.

In my opinion,Sevilla is a beautiful city with a huge historic centre, the biggest in Spain. Also there is the theatre Lope de Vega and a lots of museums, like the Bellas Artes museum,Archeologist museum,Sailing museum...

After a long week sightseeing the whole city,I decided to learn to dance the typical dance of the city called sevillanas. It's great to see how the people have a good time with family and friends...and they are all very nice!A group of friends who I met helped me to dance.

All in all,I recommend Sevilla for a city break, especially if you are interested in a sightseeing holidays or love dance, history and theatre.

Hello María Jose,
I'm now living in Valdemoro, but when I was a child I lived in Torremolinos near Málaga.
It is a beautiful place because it's at the seaside and you can go to the beach almost every day. I still go there on holidays.
This summer I have visited some new places in Málaga. It is a big city were you can find museums, old castles and ancient history.
A very popular place are the Nerja Caves that are visited by a lot of tourists.
There is a big port where international crouises arrived in the summer.
In August the famous "Malaga fair " is held, it has a lot of rides and other awesome enterteinments. I'd like you will tell me about your home town as well.

Hi Maria Jose,
You asked me to tell you something about my home town so I am going to tell you about Valdemoro.
Valdemoro is a small town situated on the North of Madrid next to a small town called Pinto.
It has 64'2 square kilometers and its population is 72'265 inhabitants.

Some special places in Valdemoro are El Eeston, the parks `Victimas del Terrorismo´ and `Tierno Galvan´, the Town hall and `Brezo´.These places are special in Valdemoro because they have been  part of the history of Valdemoro.

Best places are the park of the `Victimas del Terrorismo´ because its a beautifull park to have a fun afternoon, the park `Tierno Galvan´ is also a special place because it has lot of nature and it is also very beautifull.

There are some new places like the highschool Neil Armstrong, the Bowling, the Vips and the Burger King next to the school Doña Leonor del Alamo.

Anyway, write back soon.
Bye,

STUDENTS WRITE ABOUT THEIR HOLIDAYS

Hi,
I'm going to talk about my holidays in New York last summer.New York's a special city with a lot of things to do here.
There was a big park called "Central Park" with a lot of kinds of birds and plants. There is a lake in the centre of the park where a lot of fish live in harmony with the turtles and ducks.
Another place located in Manhattan is the "Statue of Liberty", that is 280 metres high (more or less) . In my opinion, these places are essential to visit if you go to New York. Another important place is times square, that is located in the centre of the city and you will find too many imteresting things in these streets.

       Having great beauty.

                                             PABLO ESPEJO  1º BACHILLERATO (16-17)

I think that the best holiday that I have ever had was the one that I had last summer.
Last summer I went to Edinburgh for an entire month. When I got off of the plane I felt surprised because that country has a lot of plants, trees and gardens everywhere, all the sceneries of Scotland are so beautiful because of that.
Apart from the vegetation, Scotland has a lot of castles, which are the most important emblem of the country.
The people that live there are called 'scottish'. They are usually very nice and polite with the foreigneis but there are also some people that don't respect you or talk to you in a rude way, but this happens in every part of the world, not everybody will treat you the way you want to be treated.
The food un Scotland in my opinion is very tasty and delicious. The scottish food is very similar to the American food. In both countries preople cook with butter instead of oil. The most typical food of Scotland is the 'haggish' and the 'black pudding'. If you are interested in visiting Edinburgh someday, I really recommend you to try those meal
