DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN WE HEARD THIS IN CLASS?

Hi again

Today I am posting the answers to yesterday's activities on pg 81  (2 and 3)

1, had bought, the day before/the previous day
2. wanted, then
3. to go, that night
4.would be eating, the next day/the following day

3. Answers

1. invited me to come over to her place
2. suggested going out/ that they go out to eat
3. apologised for not calling (me) back earlier
4. refused to lend me his bike
5. promised to tell/that she would tell me all about her date that night.

For further practice, I would like you to do these exercises on this website.
